DRAFT BEER FAQS: PRESSURE
How do I set up the gas equipment for two draft beers that require different CO2 pressures?
When dispensing multiple keg draft beers with different CO2 carbonation levels, it is necessary to use either dual primary gas regulators or secondary gas regulators to regulate the specific pressure for the different beers’ carbonation. Adjust secondary regulators based on the beers’ temperature and carbonation level.
Assure that the primary regulator is adjusted at least 15 lbs. higher than the secondary regulators' pressure. If dispensing multiple draft beers with the same CO2 carbonation, then the above-mentioned gas regulators are unnecessary. Rather, one primary gas regulator can be used in combination with a gas distributor to route the same pressure to multiple kegs.
